3.3 V step-up/step-down converter
Pololu S9V11E2F3 is a step-up/step-down converter that maintains 3.3 V even when the input voltage is lower or higher than the output voltage.
This lets you power your circuit with a stable voltage from a battery that discharges below the output level. The manufacturer specifies a continuous current of up to 1.5 A when the input voltage is equal to or higher than the output voltage, and a typical efficiency of 85 % to 95 %.
The board measures 10.9 x 16.5 x 4 mm, has pins on a 2.54 mm pitch and an EN input that puts the converter into sleep mode. Header pins are not included.

The S9V11E2F3 converter accepts an input voltage from 2 V to 16 V: it needs 3 V to start and then keeps running down to 2 V. The current at startup is limited to about 700 mA, and in sleep mode the board draws about 10 µA per volt at the input.
