Description
Tile with the GPS+GLONASS PA1616D module, suitable for connectorsof the Raspberry Pi, version A+/B+/2/3/4. System communicates via serial UART interface, it has a built-in antenna, the receiver's sensitivity is 165 dB. The device is powered by minicomputer, it consumes only 20 mA of current. The update of frequency is 10 Hz which means the new data 10 times per second.
Included is a connector 2x20 pin that allows direct connection of the module to pinsof the Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2/3/4. The connector must be self-soldered.
Real-time clock
The module has a system RTC, from where you can download the actual time. An additional advantage is the possibility to insert a CR1220 battery which gives the possibility of maintaining the power of real-time clock even in a period of 7 years.
Monitoring
The LED indicator allows to monitor the status of the GPS module. Blinking with a frequency of about 1 Hz, it means finding the satellites, the appearance of light every 15 seconds indicates finding a FIX. The LED signal is led-out on the goldpin FIX connector so you can read it via the microcontroller.
Range
Built-in antenna gives the sensitivity of 165 dB, for increasing this parameter, you can add the external version via the u.FL connector. Since most of the available antennas have SMA connector, in our offer, you will find a suitableadapter u.FL - SMA.
