Product description: FeatherWing DotStar - 6x12 RGB LED matrix - Feather cap - Adafruit 3449.
Overlay from Adafruit'sFeatherproduct family, which is compatible with theFeatherbase modules. Equipped withan LED matrixcontaining a combination of up to 72RGB LEDswith 2 x 2 mm pixel dimensions. The dimensions of the matrix are6 x 12. Each of the individual LEDs hasits own address, so it can be configured individually and in any way. The user can adjust the brightness, colour and flashing frequency. Only two pins are required to control the LEDs:SDAandSCL.
Connection of overlay with main module
The work of individual diodes of the matrix depends on the programimplemented in the microcontroller. Its function in the case of Feather series overlays is performed, among others, by theFeathermain module. The elements are connected bygoldpinconnectors. Dedicated connectors are included in the set. The cap has specialleads, to which they should be soldered.
