SparkFun MicroMod Ethernet Function Board module from SparkFun. It is equipped with high quality W5500 chip from WIZnet and Ag9900M Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) DC/DC converter. It supports multiple communication protocols (TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, IGMP and PPPoE, etc.) and an integrated memory buffer area to facilitate Ethernet data packet processing. The W5500 has a built-in 32-kilobyte internal memory buffer for Ethernet packet processing.

PoE - Power over Ethernet - is a technology that enables simultaneous power supply to network devices and data transfer. It is used in all telecommunication installations, including IP cameras, access points and routers, network switches and VoIP phones (Voice of IP phones).
