Product description: Filament Rosa3D Refill ASA 1.75 mm 1 kg - Silver
Refill ASA filament in silver, produced by Rosa3D. During printing, it shows a limited degree of shrinkage, the resulting vapors are less noticeable than when using traditional ABS. The main feature of ASA thermoplastic is its high resistance to UV radiation, heat and moisture. It can be used in outdoor conditions exposed to changing weather conditions. The filament diameter is 1.75 mm. The weight of the material on the spools is 1 kg.
Refill series of filaments
Replacing the disposable spools that come preloaded with filament with Masterspool's reusable spools is a move to reduce the amount of plastic we can't use again. We can create reusable spools ourselves on our printer. To do this, it will be most convenient to use the ready-made design suggested by the manufacturer.
In our offer of filaments you will also find other materials and colors.

Additional information about ASA
- ASA filament (acrylonitrile - styrene - acrylic) is a material with high resistance to UV radiation, moisture and heat. It can be used in an environment with changing weather conditions.
- ASA has lower shrinkage than popular ABS. It also gives off less annoying fumes during printing.
- The thermoplastic shows no signs of deformation up to a temperature of about 94 ° C.
- ASA material is often used in the automotive and marine industries. Elements made of this thermoplastic are, for example, mirror and sensor housings, covers, radiator covers.
- First layer adhesion can be improved by using a small amount of ASA dissolved in acetone.
- For this material, printing in a closed chamber is recommended.
It is recommended to print in a closed chamber.
The adhesion of the first layer to the table can be improved with ASY juice (ASA material dissolved in acetone).
