The LoRa narrowband wireless communication standard enablesdata transmission over long distances.The chip also supports many standard modulations (G)FSK, (G)MSK, BPSK. The module is equipped with 256 kB Flash memory and 64 kB RAM. The board has interfaces such as USART, LPUART, SPI, I2C, ADC, DAC, AES, GPIO. The module is powered from portmicroUSBport, it also has a slot for a CR2032 battery for theRTCchip. The STM32WL chip is equipped with two HF power amplifiers. (15 dBm and 22 dBm) and a wide linear frequency range to fit any unlicensed RF band needs.

STM32WLE5 series microcontrollers meet the requirements of the LoRaWAN physical layer issued by the LoRa Alliance. LoRa, (G)FSK, (G)MSK and BPSK modulations can also be used in legacy and proprietary protocols. Radio communications are suitable for systems compliant with radio regulations, including but not limited to ETSI EN300 220, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, Chinese regulatory requirements, and Japanese ARIB T-108. The 150 MHz to 960 MHz frequency range supports all major ISM sub-GHz bands worldwide.
