Product description: ZigBee ZDS2 window and door opening sensor Tuya Smart Life
A smart window and door openingsensor that works with a ZigBee control panel within the Tuya Smart application. Powered by a single CR2032 battery that lasts up to 12 months (when used 20 times each day). White colored components allow it to blend in with its surroundings. The sensor has a low power consumption and reliable operation is ensured by a reed relay and a magnet. Additionally the ZDS2 model is equipped with a sensor of tearing the element off the surface. The set includes ZigBee window and door opening detector, CR2032 battery and double sided tape.

ZigBee technology - what is it?
ZigBee technology is an open standard for radio communication. It is supported by the most popular consumer electronics manufacturers united under the Zigbee Alliance. This standard allows for integration of several devices at the same time, thus enhancing the capabilities of a smart home and setting up process automation, e.g. activation of alarm or lighting based on opening detection. Mesh topology guarantees stable communication between the control panel and individual components of the system, because each receiver is also a transmitter. A failure of a single device does not result in stopping operation of the entire network.
