Description
Sensor for measuring accelerations in three axes of ± 2 g / ± 8 g. The module is supplied with voltage from 3.3 to 8 V, has a voltage regulator, communicates through an analogue signal - separate output for each axis: X, Y, Z.
Specification
- Supply voltage: 3.3 V to 8 V
- Current consumption: approx. 180 µ A
- Three axes: X, Y, Z
- Communication interface: analogue - separate output for each axis
- Measuring range adjustable by switch: ± 2 g / 8 g
- Affection:
- 229.0 mV/g for 2 g range
- 57,25 mV/g for the 8 g range
- Connection cables with female terminals supplied with the sensor
- Dimensions of the plate: 37 x 26 mm
Selection of the measuring range.
The device has a switch that can be used to adjust the measuring range. Available:
- ± 2 g - switch in H position
- ± 8 g - switch in L position
Arduino compatible product The wiring diagram of Arduino can be found atthis address. |
Communication
The output is an analogue voltage signal, proportional to the measured acceleration. The sensor can be operated with any microcontroller with analogue-digital converter, e.g.Arduinokit orSTM32Discovery. The module has three 3-pin connectors, each with VCC, GND and analog signal pins.
Example of connection withArduino- details are available in the user guide. Female connectors are included to allow easy connection of the sensor from Arduino using theExpansion Shieldcap.
