DJI Phantom 4 Pro

Description

The latest DJI product from the Phantom series. In addition to traditional GPS and IMU stabilization systems, it also has an innovative intelligent obstacle bypass system. Phantom 4 Pro is easy to pilot and extremely stable during flight.

Camera

The Pro version is an improved Phantom 4 model. The model is equipped with a1"camerawith a 20 MPx lens, which can record 4 K videoat 60 fps.Burst Modeallows you to take a series of photos and then choose the best one. The mechanically adjustable shutter speed completely eliminates the problem of blurred photos.

Design

The casing of the new Phantom is made of titanium and magnesium alloys, which makes it very stable and at the same time its weight is similar to the usual version. The Phantom 4 Pro is equipped with theFlightAutonomysystem for intelligent obstacle avoidance - dual front and rear vision sensors, 5-way obstacle detection and 4-way obstacle avoidance.

Improved controller and extended range

A state-of-the-art controller with theLightbridgeHD video transmission system guarantees crystal clear images with maximum range. With a choice of transmission frequencies between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, all interference and delays are eliminated. The intelligentTime Division Multiplexingsystem analyzes available signal levels and automatically selects the best frequency. The device provides HD transmission without interference even on flights up to 7kilometres.

Drawing mode

Phatom 4 Pro has aDrawmode, which allows you to control the drone in the most modern way. Simply draw a line on the screen and the device will follow this direction while remaining completely stable. This allows you to focus on the camera and create more complex shots. You can choose between two modes:

• Standard: The drone moves at a constant speed in the direction the camera is facing.
• Free: the drone moves along a fixed route, regardless of the equipment setting

ActiveTrack mode

This mode allows you to automatically recognize, follow and crop objects when they are in motion. It makes it much easier to create complex shots. The modern algorithm is able to keep even fast-moving objects such as people, animals and cars in the frame. There are three modes of operation:

• Trace: Track an object from the front or back with automatic obstacle avoidance
• Profiles: Fly around an object at different angles to get different shots
• Spotlight: Any flight, the object is kept in the frame at all times

TapFly mode

This mode allows you to fly by clicking on the destination screen. To change direction, touch the screen again or use the camera. The AR function shows the direction of the flight in real time. There are three TapFly modes to choose from:

• TapFly Forward: tap to fly in the desired direction.
• TapFly Backward: touch to fly in the opposite direction to the selected one, e.g. touching the lower right corner of the screen will fly backwards to the upper left
• TapFly Free: Lock the direction to rotate the camera freely. In this mode, obstacle avoidance is disabled

Return home mode

Phantom 4 Pro has an improved version of theReturn to Homemode, which selects the optimal route taking into account the terrain. During the flight, the drone saves the route history, allowing you to return the same route avoiding obstacles. It can record the moment of landing and compare it with the previous one to precisely match ground contact. Phantom 4 Pro can also analyze if the landing point is appropriate. When obstacles, such as water, are detected, the drone rises to a safe distance, waiting for movement and landing.

Gesture control

Advanced video technology takes instructions by gestures. This makes it possible, for example, to do "self-made" without using the equipment. When you raise your hands up, standing in front of the camera, the movement will be recognized and the camera will place you in the middle of the frame. Then the arm movement activates a 3-second countdown to take the picture.

Advanced flight modes

Phantom 4 Pro offers 3 flight modes:

• Position:Mode, TapFlyandActiveTrackfunctions work. Obstacle detection and stabilization are available
• Atti: satellite stabilisation off, height maintained, speed limited to 7 km/h. Allows you to capture smoother material.
• Sport:more manoeuvrability, maximum speed up to 72 km/h.

Additional sensors

The Phantom4 Pro has two compass modules and dual IMUs, ensuring stable flight and continuously analyzing all its parameters. Advanced algorithms allow to maintain safety and accuracy of the flight.

Intelligent battery

Phantom 4 Pro has a powerful battery for up to30 minutes of flight. The DJI GO application shows you the state of charge and the expected time until the battery is depleted. It also shows when the maximum distance is reached to ensure the drone's safe return to the starting point. An advanced management system prevents overheating of the battery and excessive discharge.

Battery charging hub

The original hub allows you to charge 3 batteries starting from the one that is already the most charged. The storage function allows you to discharge the batteries to safe storage capacity.
