Fiberlogy'sHIPS filamentwith a diameter of 1.75mm andweight of 0.85kg, inblack,dedicatedfor 3D printers working in FFF / FDM technology. It is designed to be used as a basic or supporting pillar for other prints that have large overhang or non-standard shapes. It is possible to sand and paint finished prints from HIPS. When using the cartridge as a support material it should be immersed inD-limonenesolution, which will completely dissolve HIPS and leave the rest of the printout in the desired shape.

Properties of the HIPS file
The cartridge for3DHIPS printers is lighter in comparison with other materials, has a matt surface and not a glossy one. The filter is dissolved in D-limonene. It is possible to paint it with acrylic paint, glue it, and sand it. Due to its properties it can be used as a support or base material.
