Description: Grove - 6-axis accelerometer and compass.

6-axisaccelerometerand compass by Grove. It hasa 3-pin magnetometer anda 3-pin accelerometer.It can be easily used with a microcontroller via the I2Cor SPIport. It can also be configured to generate an interrupt signal for free fall, motion detection and magnetic field detection.

Excursions:

  1. Grove interface, connect toI2C.

  2. SPIinterface.

  3. Default setting for I2C use, if you want to use SPI disconnect I2C.

  4. Abort the digital output.

  5. Address selection pad (default connected b, a (address is 0x1E)).

SPI interface

It is a serial interface for peripheral devices. It is one of the most frequently used communication interfaces between microprocessor systems and peripherals such as: ADC/DAC converters,RTCchips,EEPROM,flash memory, etc.Communication through SPI is done via three lines. Additional CS line is used toactivate selected peripheral system.
