Product description: Banana Pi M5 4GB RAM + 16GB eMMC Quad-Core 64 bit
The Banana Pi M5 minicomputer comes with 4GB of RAM and 16GB of eMMC memory. The board is based on quad-core processor Amlogic S905X, ARM Cortex-A55 Quad-Core supported by graphics chip Mali G31. Equipped with a number of connectors including 4 x USB, Ethernet port 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps, HDMI port, USB type C for power and 3.5 mm jack connector. The board has a 40 pin GPIO and interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI. Banana Pi has a Reset button and two general purpose buttons. Additionally, there is an infrared receiver on the board, which enables e.g. remote powering of the board.

Operating system and multimedia
Banana Pi M5 is compatible with Android and Linux operating systems. The system can be loaded directly to the built-in eMMC memory of the minicomputer via USB C port or to a microSD card using an adapter from a computer equipped with a reader. The operating system can be downloaded for free from the manufacturer's website. Banana Pi M5 minicomputer has an HDMI connector for 1080p Full HD video. Built-in 3.5 mm jack connector allows you to connect e.g. headphones.
Power supply for the Banana Pi M5 mini computer
The Banana Pi M5 minicomputer is equipped with a USB type C port, which is used to upload the system to eMMC memory and power the module. Board requires 5V / 3A power supply, power supply is not included.
Communication of Banana Pi M5
Banana Pi M5 is equipped with a 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet port, through which it can communicate with the Internet. There are 4 USB ports for connecting peripherals such as mouse or keyboard. The module is equipped with IR receiver, which can be used to remotely turn the device on or off. The 40 pins GPIO allows to control electronic components like e.g. diodes, motors or servo controllers. There are 28 GPIO pins supporting PWM, UART, I2C and SPI. Other connectors are 5V, 3.3V and GND.
