STARVIS and HDR
Sony STARVIS is a type of CMOS image sensor that is exceptionally sensitive to light, allowing it to capture high-quality images in very low light conditions. This technology is useful in applications such as night monitoring.
HDR, i.e. High Dynamic Range, is a technology that allows you to capture images with a large dynamic range. It is used to improve the quality of high-contrast images where the differences between the lightest and darkest parts of the image are significant.
When used together, these two technologies provide excellent low-light performance and improve image quality by expanding dynamic range. The result is clear, well-lit images.
