Description

WiFi module based on ESP8266 chip. It operates in 802.11 b/g/n WiFi standard at 2.4 GHz. It is equipped with 16 outputs - 2 mm raster, 9 of which are GPIO and 1 ADC. It has a built-in LED, PCB antenna and U.FL connector to connect the external version. The board dimensions are 22 x 16 mm.

Features of ESP-07 module

Features that distinguish the ESP-07 module from the entire ESP-XX family:

  • It has 16 leads:
    • 9 x GPIO - digital outputs/inputs
    • 1 x ADC input - D/A converter
    • 2 x UART (TX, RX) - for communication with e.g. Arduino
  • Installation: SMD / THT:
    • Hole diameter: 0.9 mm
    • Raster of exits: 2 mm
  • Equipped with a ceramic antenna
  • Default communication speed UART: 115200 bps
  • It has a connector for connecting an external antenna: U.FL (we offer adapters and antennas)
  • Screened module
  • Dimensions: 22 x 16 mm

Connection

The module has 9 outputs, 2 mm raster.

PinDescription
TxD UART serial interface transmitter.
RxD UART serial interface receiver.
GPIO x GPIO output (digital input/output) with a consecutive number.
GPIO 0 GPIO No. 0 with special function:

To update, enter low state (connect to GND).

GPIO 15

GPIO No. 15 with special function:

In the normal and programming mode, the low state should be given (connect to GND).

ADC Analogue-to-digital converter input.
REST Reset the system.
CH_PD Power down - when you enter a low state, you go into sleep mode.

To update, enter high state (3.3 V).

VCC Supply voltage - 3.3 V.

Product compatible with Arduino

Instructions for connecting the module with Arduino based on the ESP-01 module can be found onthe DIY blog andinthe guide prepared by us.

The board tolerates voltage of 3.3V. Therefore, you should choose Arduinoworking with 3.3V orusea converter.
