The module can generate signals: 2 x sinusoidal, 2 x rectangular with frequencies up to 40 MHz. It communicates via the serial bus or by sending bits in parallel. It is powered by 3.3 V or 5 V.

Description

The AD9850 signal generator module has two outputs for sine waveform and two rectangular waveform outputs. The maximum frequency of the generated signal is 40 MHz, the control word consists of 32 bits. The system communicates via a serial interface or a parallel bus is supplied with 3.3 V or 5 V.

GND Module weight
W_CLK Communication bus clock signal.
FQUP Change of frequency, if a rising edge appears on this pins the system will update the frequency to the value given in the input register
D7 Serial interface data line.
REST Reset of the module, high signal removes data from all system registers.
D0-D7 8 bits of parallel bus: D0=LSD, D7=MSB.
I-R External potentiometer to change the amplitude
VINP Comparator signal input.
VINN Comparator level.
OUT Sinusoidal signal output1.
