Description
The sensors are designed for installation in the SparkFun RedBot robots. They allow you to measure the speed of rotation used in the motor construction. The system consists of two optical QRE1113GR sensors, which detect the gap between the gear overlay on the other side of the shafts. The resulting pulses are transmitted to the main microcontroller. Based on them, it calculates the rotation speed of the wheels. The operation of the sensor described in the video below.

Connection
The kit consists of one board which has two sensors for measuring the pulse of both used in the RedBot motors. The connector is a double strap goldpin (3x2 - raster 2.54 mm) with outputs:
- VCC - supply voltage 5 V
- GND - ground system
- OUT A - output of the sensor A
- OUT B - output of the sensor B
