Description
Wireless network module with CC3000 from Texas Instruments. It allows you to easily connect to a WiFi network. It communicates with the microcontroller via SPI interface (MOSI, MISO, CS, SCK), which allows the user to control the data flow. CC3000 can be configured using SmartConfig mobile phone application.
The system is powered from 3.3 V to 12 V. It has a built-in antenna with the possibility of connecting anexternal version. This option is useful when the network range is too weak or the antenna needs to be brought outside the casing. The leads are holes for populargoldpin connectors(not included in the set), which allows to connect the circuit toa contact plateor to be connected withwires.
Arduino compatible product The manufacturer providesa user guideand a set ofsample programs forArduino. |

Connection
The module has nine outputs:
PIN | Description |
GND | The weight of the system. |
VCC | Power supply voltage with voltage regulator: 4.3 V - 12 V. If 3.3 V is available in the system, connect it to the3.3 Vpin.Only oneof the VCC and 3.3V pinscanbe connected. |
3.3V | The 3.3 V supply voltage must be connected to this output. If a higher voltage is available, connect it to theVCCpin.Only one of the pinsVCC and 3.3Vcanbe connected. |
MOSI | SPI bus data line. |
MISO | SPI bus data line. |
CS | SPI bus device selection (chip select). |
INT | External interruption. |
SCK | SPI bus clock line. |
EN | The ENABLE output should be connected to the GPIO microcontroller pin. |
