Description
A Dagu controller allows for the connection of up to 48modeling servo systems.It is powered from 7 - 30 V and has a built-in 5 V regulator with a capacity of 3 A. The heart of the module is the ATmega1280 microcontroller, thanks to which Spider has it: 70 digital input/output pins, 16 analog inputs, 8 PWM channels and communication interfaces such as: I2C and UART. On the board was installed Arduino bootloader (Mega version), which allows programming through Arduino IDE environment.
In order to facilitate the operation of the module, the manufacturer has mounted on the board both the female connectors known from the classic Arduino,as well as triple male pins, which allow for easy connection of servos - the external line is ground, the middle power supply +5 V, and the internal control signal. Thanks to the built-in 5 V / 3 A regulator, traditional model servo machines working with voltages of 4.8 - 6.0 V can be powered directly from the controller, high power devices should be powered from an external source.
Programming
Spider is compatible with Arduino IDE environment. The chip connects to the computer via miniUSB cable(notincluded), virtual serial port COM appears in the system. In order to program in Arduino environment you have to select appropriate port number and Arduino Mega board.
