MiniGen has two output connector: standard hole 2-pin connectorgoldpin raster 2.54 mm(not included in package, sold separately) and connector FL. The signal has an amplitude of Vcc/2 where Vcc is set by default to a value of approximately 3.3 V it gives the maximum value of 1 V.

 

The default module is set to the operation mode with a supply voltage of 3.3 V. This means that it is compatible withArduino Pro Mini 3.3 V version. To switch the voltage to 5 V, you need to solder the jumper on the back side of the board.

 

The product is compatible with Arduino

The manufacturer has preparedan Arduino libraryfor the module maintenance. Installation and connection facilitatesmanual available on-line.

Connection

The module should be placed on thePro Miniso that the outputs are on the side of the USB connector. MiniGen can also be used with other devices. Description of outputs is given below.

Power supply:

GND Module ground
OUTPUT+ The DAC output AD9837, the positive pole of amplitude of approx.1 Vpp
OUTPUT- The negative pole of the output must connect to ground
SCLK Line clock the SPI bus
SDATA The data line of the SPI bus
FSYNC Equivalent to chip select (CS) device selection I2C bus
