Description
Banana Pi M2+ EDU is a minicomputer equipped with 512 MB of RAM, Allwinner H3 Quad-core Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz processor as well as connectors known from the Raspberry Pi, i.a.: 2 x USB, slot formicroSD cards, HDMI and Ethernet port. Board also has 40 GPIO pins, as well as communication UART, I2C, SPI interfaces. Built-in buttons: Reset, Power, Uboot and the IR receiver are useful during the operation of the module.

The picture and sound
Banana Pi has a HDMI connector through which you can send picture and sound. Board also has a CSI connector for connecting the camera with the sensor 8-bit YUV42 CMOS 1080p @30fps.
Operating system
Banana Pi M2+ EDU usesthe microSD memory card. The operating system can be uploaded via the computer with the reader. Board supports, i.a. systemd: Ubuntu and Raspbian.
Communication
Banana Pi has basic communication interfaces that can be found in office computers of PC class. In addition to the previously listed connectors of audio and video, the user has at his or her disposal:
- Two USB ports, to which can be connected, for example, a mouse, a keyboard, a wi-fi card or USB flash drive. If you find that the slots are too short, you can increase their number using an external USB HUB.
- Ethernet connector,that is the ability to directly connect to the LAN network of 10/100/1000 Mbps.
- 40 x GPIO- outputs/inputs with general purpose that can be used to control the LEDs, buttons, drivers of engines. Among them are the pins supporting interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART.

Power
As a power source, the system uses the DC connector of 4.0/1.7 mm. The required parameters of power supply are 5 V and 2 A. In our assortment available isa special power supply.
