The Kitronik 5666 - Discovery Kit for BBC micro:bit, was designed specifically for beginners in the world of electronics and programming. Each project includes instructions for making, i.e. electrical connections on a breadboard and creating program code in the MakeCode environment. The instructions include descriptions and pictograms that make it easier to perform exercises without prior substantive preparation.
Discovery Kit for BBC micro:bit - Interacting with MakeCode Environment
This kit allows you to create program code in the MakeCode environment. To start, connect the BBC micro:bit module to a USB port on your computer. Your Windows computer will see the micro:bit as an external drive. After unzipping the folder, you will be able to access individual program files, which you can simply drag into the MakeCode environment, which will be indicated by the orange LED on the underside of the micro:bit flashing and turning off when the program files are loaded. Now all you have to do is run the program and observe the reaction on the breadboard.
