Description
The module is compatible with Arduino, based on the ATSAMD21G18 system. Designed to use with CircuitPython, a program that connects Python language with microcontrollers. It has 25 digital inputs/outputs, 20 PWM channels, 12 analog inputs, as well as popular communication interfaces. May be powered via DC connector with voltage from 6 to 12V or microUSB connector with voltage of 5 V.
Power
The module can be powered via microUSB cable and an external device, for example, the AC adapter, the battery or the rechargeable battery. Switching the power sources is automatic. The power supply is connected to a standard DC slot. Rechargeable battery or other source should be connected to the pins of the POWER connector.
Programming
The module has a UF2 bootloader. The system displays it as an external mass storage so in order to upload new firmware, just drag the software. There is no need to use additional tools. In this way, you can load the CircuitPython programs. The module can be programmed using the Arduino IDE. For this, you will need to configure the software in a way described by the manufacturer and connect the board using the microUSB cable. The settings of the Arduino IDE are available on the website of the manufacturer.
