Product description: RP2040 HAT Expansion - Raspberry Pi pin expander - Pi HAT and Pico HAT - SB Components SKU24766
The module based on the RP2040 microcontroller is a development board that allows you to connect HATs - including Pi HAT and Pico HAT . It allows you to use many different extensions at the same time, making it easier to test other modules. Built-in RP2040 has 2 Cortex M0+ cores clocked at 133 MHz, 2 MB QSPI Flash memory and a USB interface with a Type-C connector for programming and communication with a computer. The system is equipped with 26 GPIO pins. It is equipped with interfaces such as: 2 x I2C , 2 x SPI , 2 x UART, 16 PWM channels and 4 x ADC . Programming is done in C/C, CircuitPython and MicroPython. The board is also equipped with a Reset and Bootloader button and LEDs indicating the operating and power status of the system.

What are HATs?
HAT overlays are modules intended for installation on Raspberry Pi (Pi HAT) or Raspberry Pi Pico (Pico HAT) boards. They have standard connectors, enabling installation without the need for soldering. These include many power supply systems, sensors, pin expanders and communication modules. Their manufacturers often provide ready-to-use libraries and usage examples, making their use even easier.
