Thermoptek technology
Thermoptek technology is a combination of optical sensors and thermal sensors. When smoke reaches the optical chamber inside the sensor, the smoke scatters the infrared light sent between the photodiodes.An additional temperature sensor monitors the rise in ambient temperature, and the combination of these two sensors makes the ST-630 smoke sensor react faster to an emerging threat.

Installation of sensor ST-630 to the surface
- Break out the holes in the mounting plate.
- Determine the position of the holes using the mounting grooves on the mounting plate.
- Drill the holes and insert the plastic dowels.
- Fix the mounting plate with the supplied screws.
- Attach the sensor to the mounting plate, the sensor will switch on automatically when it is properly connected to the plate.
