Module for non-contact temperature measurement. The measuring module usesIR temperature sensorand ASSP. The ASSP signal conditioning circuit has a 17-bit ADCanda DSP. This provides high accuracy measurements with a wide measuring range. The IrThermo module is equipped with a 10-bitPWMandSMBus/I2Cinterface. By using IR we can control the temperature of moving or very high temperature elements.

Working with the IrThermo module
The temperature is measured usingtheMLX90614non-contacttemperature sensor. The sensor is factory calibrated in a wide temperature range from -70°Cto 380°C.The module is equipped with EEPROM memory, in which configuration data is stored, change of values in EEPROM memory requires device reset. The manufacturer has also prepared a special libraryand a demo applicationcreated using MikroElektronika and microSDK compilers.
The module has already soldered in the outputs.
