MakerPi3D printerdesigned to create 3D models with maximum dimensions of 200 x 200 x300 mm.The printer has aclosed casing. The device is partially assembled. External dimensions of the printer are: 400 x 400 x 500 mm. The distinguishing feature of the K5 Plus model is the possibility of extending its functionality with a laserengraver.
Presentation of MakerPi K5 Plus model.
Innovative head and hotbed
The MakerPi K5 Plus hotend design useshigh quality PTFE tubes. This solution reduces the risk of nozzle clogging and allows for an operating temperature of 250°C.Theunique, modular design of the print head allows for simple and quick nozzle replacement, which according to the manufacturer takes only 30 seconds.
Simple nozzle changing system.
Maximum working temperature oftheprintingtableis 120°C.Its design ensures even heating of the entire working area and easy removal of finished prints. Thin glass surface protected by a PVC label ensures good adhesion of the models to the substrate. MakerPi K5 Plus, thanks to the high operating temperatures achieved by the nozzle and printing platform, enables printingwithPLA,ABS, PHA, PETGfilaments.
Closed working chamber ensures safety while working with ABS.
Functions facilitating work
The K5 Plus offers a range of features for easy operation. Particularly noteworthy is the system that supports levellingthe device. After installing a special sensor and selecting the appropriate option in the4.3'' touch menu, the device software will indicate step by step the next steps. K5 Plus is also equipped with a number of functionsto protect the work progress. Please list here:
- automatic resumption of printing after power failure,
- a filament sensor that informs about the ending of the printing material,
- option for safe replacement of the pillar during operation.
