WiFi module ESP-01 ESP8266 Black - 3 GPIO, 1MB, PCB antenna

Description

WiFi module based on ESP8266 chip. It operates in WiFI 802.11 b/g/n standard on 2.4 GHz. It is equipped with 8 outputs - 2.54 mm raster, 3 of which are GPIO. It has a built-in 512 kB Flash memory, LED and PCB antenna. The board dimensions are 24,8 x 16 mm.

In our offer you will findESP-01 Black modulewith increased Flash memory up to 1 MB.

Features of the ESP-01 module

Below are the features that distinguish the ESP-01 module from the entire ESP-XX family.

  • It has 8 outputs:
    • 3 x GPIO - digital outputs/inputs
    • 2 x UART (TX, RX) - for communication with e.g. Arduino
  • Installation: THT:
    • Raster of the leads: 2.54 mm
  • Equipped with a built-in PCB antenna
  • Dimensions: 24.8 x 16 mm

Connection

The module has 8 pins, led to a 2x4 goldpin raster strip of 2.54 mm.

PinDescription
Vcc Power supply 3.3 V, current consumption up to 300 mA.
GND The weight of the system.
Tx UART serial interface transmitter.
Rx UART serial interface receiver.
RST Reset system - activated in a low state. During normal operation, the high state should be given.
CH_PD

Power down - when you enter a low state, you go into sleep mode.

For software updates and communication via UART, the high state (3.3 V) must be given.

GPIO0

GPIO exit No. 0.

To update, enter low state (connect to GND).

GPIO2 GPIO exit No. 2.

Arduino compatible product

Instructions on how to connect the module with Arduino can be foundon the DIY blog,at nurdspace.comand inthe guide we prepared.

The board tolerates 3.3V. Therefore, you should choose Arduinoworking with 3.3V orusea converter.
