Minicomputer operating system Rock Pi 4 Model A
Minicomputer works with many systems including Debian, Ubuntu and Android. The disk of the device is amicroSDcardoreMMC memory, as well as SSD M.2.
Communication Rock Pi 4 Model A
Rock Pi has basic communication interfaces that can be found in PC-class office computers. The user has it at his disposal:
- Two USB 2.0 connectors,under which you can connect e.g. a mouse, a keyboard, a WiFi card or a flash drive. If it turns out that there are too few sockets, you can increase their number by usingan external USB HUB.
- Gigabit Ethernet socket, which means that you can connect directly to your LAN. The minicomputer also supports PoE power.
- GPIO x 40 pin- general purpose outputs/inputs that can be used for LEDs, buttons, motor controllers. Among them there are pins supporting interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART.
- MicroSD slot- slot for a microSD memory card, on which the operating system can be installed.
- CSI connector- socket for connecting the camera. Works with officialRaspberry Picameras.
- DSIconnector - socket for connecting the display. Rock Pi cooperates with the officialRaspberry Pi screen.
Rock PihasHDMIconnector, throughwhich you can transmit both video and audio in 4K quality.
Power supply for Rock Pi 4 Model A minicomputer
The minicomputer can be powered by 5 V / 3 A using the USB type C connector or 9 V to 20 V with a current capacity of 2 A via USB PD (Power Delivery). The device also supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 / 3.0 power supply. Rock Pi can be powered from the battery via the JST connector.
Rock Pi has amicroSD memory cardslot.The card is not included in the package and can be purchased separately.
