Description
Module for adding motion and direction detection to the system of smart clothes Adafruit Flora. It consists of two sensors: accelerometer which allows to detect the direction and acceleration of motion and is used to determine the direction of the compass (magnetometer).
The applied sensor is a system LSM303DLHC equipped with a digital communication interface I2C (two lines: SDA and SCL). It works with a supply voltage of 3 V, which means that you can connect it directly to the main controller of Adafruit Florawithconductive threads. Due to the lack of the ability to change the address of a device, on the same bus you can connect a single accelerometer.
