Educational robots built of building blocks have already found their place in children's rooms and classrooms. No wonder: they are based on a brilliantly simple idea which the designers of such sets can adapt in a fantastic way. For younger and slightly older children, and even teenagers, the adventure of building their own electronic device is a great experience. The exciting Abilix Krypton sets will certainly make this adventure even more interesting.

Abilix Krypton
See also
Five levels of initiation
Abilix Krypton are kits for building educational robots, combining blocks of various colors and shapes with advanced electronics. The heart of each kit is the main unit - in the smaller ones the ARM Cortex 72 MHz processor and 64 kB RAM, in the larger ones - the MTK 1.3 GHz main unit with 2 GB Flash memory and 512 MB RAM. In addition, users receive pads called modules in Abilix Krypton, and - in selected sets - such elements as sensors and touch screens. Comparing different versions of the pads will help you in the table, which we have included in the descriptions of each product. However, to show the differences in the contents of the sets it is enough to mention that the smallest set contains 409 modules enabling the construction of 17 different structures, while the largest set with 1122 modules provides inspiration to create as many as 50 different educational robots.
An extraordinary adventure in robotics for children
The creators of the Abilix Krypton series made sure that young robotics enthusiasts can make friends with their educational robots for a long time. They created a mobile application to program the construction, which works on three levels. The simplest of them allows to build algorithms by dragging and dropping. The youngest roboticists will also like the Flow Chart, in which they can build their own block diagrams. However, an interesting challenge for children who are advanced in the use of Abilix Krypton will certainly turn out to be programming in the Scratch environment, equipped, of course, with friendly icons. The application for programming educational robots can be installed on a smartphone or tablet equipped with Android or iOS.
An effective science program for schools
Abilix Krypton has joined those manufacturers of educational kits and robots who understand that learning programming should now be an integral part of the curriculum. Therefore, in collaboration with teachers from the Masters of Robotics group, the creators of Abilix Krypton kits have created a manual and lesson plans for schools. Ready-made scenarios will be an invaluable help for teaching staff. The lessons contain not only theoretical introduction, but also specific references to the core curriculum for schools, making it easier to set the classes on robotics and programming in the context of the material that students are currently discussing. Teachers can also make use of ready-made tasks, prepared especially for children interested in science topics. The large number of constructions available within each Abilix Krypton set guarantees many hours of great fun.
