Board has2 GB of DDR3 RAM,eMMC connector, integratedwi-fi and Bluetooth 4.0 module, portEthernet Gigabit, four USB A slots,40 GPIOs, connector for microSD cards. It works with the systemsAndroid and Ubuntu. The set also includes cablemicroUSBandIR remote contol.
Board has dimensions the same asthe Raspberry Pi 3.
What it takes to run minicomputer NanoPi?
- MicroSD memory card - media, on which installed will be the operating system
- The AC adapter with a micro USB plug - 5 V with current of 2 A
- HDMI cable- to connect the device to the monitor
- Mouse and keyboard - to control and input data into the device
Operating system
NanoPi works with the systems of Android and Ubuntu Mate. The drive of the device may be microSD card which can be purchased in our store.
Operating systems can be downloaded fromthe manufacturer's website. The manufacturer also provides the guide for the installation of the system. |
Communication
Minicomputer has basic communication interfaces that can be found in office PC computers. In addition to the previously listed connectors of audio and video, the user has at his or her disposal:
- 4 USB connectors,to which can be connected, for example, a mouse, a keyboard, a wi-fi card or USB flash drive. If you find that the slots are too short, you can increase their number usingan external USB HUB.
- Ethernet slot, that is the ability to directly connect to the LAN network.
- the wi-fi and Bluetooth modulefor wireless communication
- 40 pins of GPIOoutputs/inputs of general purpose that can be used to control the LEDs, buttons, drivers of motors. Among them are the pins that support the interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART.
- a microSDslot- slot for memory microSD cards, on which installed can be the operating system.
- HDMI connector- it transfers image to the monitor.
The device has 4 USB slots, HDMI connector, an Ethernet port and many others.
Power
As a power source, the system uses the microUSB connector. The manufacturer recommends that the voltage indicated on the plug had a value of 5.0 V and a current of the used adapter shall not be less than 2.0 A. In our offer, you will findpower supplies that meet these parameters, for example:power supply Extreme 2.1 A.
Case
NanoPI K2 suitable for case designed for Raspberry Pi 3:
- Official graphite case for Raspberry Pi Model 3/2/B+
- Official - red-white case for Raspberry Pi Model 3/2/B+
The IR receiver remains covered, what causes the use of the remote difficult, you can make the hole to uncover it.
Starter set
The manufacturer has prepareda set of sensors and modulesin a convenient chest that simplifies getting started with minicomputer.
The contents of the setMatrix Starter Kit- sold separately.
