Description
Converter enables the connection between two popular serialinterfaces USB and UART.The module is based on the reliable system FT231X (documentation)made by FTDI that ensures stable operation and works with the popular operating systems.
The module can be used to exchange data between the computer and the microcontroller system or for programmingelectronic sets with remote serial interface, e.g.ArduinoorSTM32Discovery.To connect the system to the PC it requiresa micro USB cable.
This version of the module does not have soldered connectors. The user decides what type of connectors is used.
Inputs
The module haspin system FT231 withdrawnand a signed. Holes are for standardgoldpin connectors- 2.54 mm raster (not included in package, sold separately).The converter connects to the computer using acablevia microUSB. Pin-out compatible with FTDI cable and works with Arduino 3.3 V. Pin DTR resets the Arduino during the download of sketches, without the need of pressing the RESET button.
| The system can be configured so that it also worked with voltages of 3.3 V. For this purpose connect a jumper with 3.3 V. |
