Product description: Solar powered wireless weather station
A Velleman wireless weather station consisting of an external solar-powered unit withsensorsand an internal receiver to display information. The outdoor unit consists of rain, temperature, humidity, wind strength and direction sensors. The station has the ability to separately measure temperature and humidity both outside and inside the room.

Possibilities of the station
Weather station consisting of an outdoor unit equipped with a number ofsensors andan indoor unit to receive and display information collected by the outdoor station. The sensors are able tomeasure temperature and humidity both inside and outside.The reading can take place in°C and °F.The station can measure relative and absolute pressure. The precipitation sensor allows a detailed reading from differenttime intervals, from 1 hour toa complete reading since the last station reset. Wind speed can be measured in units such as mph,km/h, m/s, knots or Beauforts.The indoor unit displays 8 wind directions. The station can be connected to a computer via a USB cable and the measurements can be analysed with the included software. The external unit is powered by the built-inphotovoltaic cell andAAbatteries.

Internal receiving station
The internal unit is capable of displaying warnings andsoundingstorms.In addition, it is possible to display weather forecasts along with weather trends. A record of maximum and minimum temperatures with exact time and date. The built-in clock and 100 year calendar are radio controlled (DCF), a signal transmitted from the atomic caesium stabilized clock, which ensures great accuracy of the measured time.
