Product description: MakeBlock 10060 - mBot Ranger robot controller - Me Auriga V1.
Me Auriga V1is a new, extendedcontroller boardfor the popularmBot Rangerrobot. Me Auriga is equipped with aBluetoothcommunication module. Thanks to the increased size, the board has space for an audio sensor, gyroscope, NTC thermistor and additional ports.
Increased capabilities
By increasing the size of the board, the number of RJ25 ports for communication and power supply has been expanded. Thanks to this procedure, the user has as many as 4 portsto supply motors, workingwith voltages from 6 V to12 V,supporting the current consumption of 3.5 A (maximum 5 A) and 6 portssupporting5 Vand 3 Asupply voltage. The number 5 port on the board is an isolated port that can only be used for serial communication.

The module is equipped with10 RJ25 connectors, which makes connecting additional modules much easier. All connectors are numberedandmarked with the appropriate color.

Sound sensor
Me Auriga is equipped with a sound sensor, designed to measurethe ambient sound level. The sound sensor is based on an electretmicrophoneand a low power amplifier LM2804.It can be used in projects using voice control.

The controller has a built-ingyroscopic sensortodetermine the movement and posture of the robot. Additionally, it contains a 3-axis accelerometeranda3-axisangle speed sensor. It can be used to builda balancing robotor other mobile devices.

Built-in NTC thermistor
The controller board is also equipped withan NTC thermistor, which allows for ambient temperature measurements.
