Product description: mmWave Radar Sensor - Radar sensor for monitoring sleep - MR24BSD1 24 GHz - Seeedstudio 101990885
The MR24BSD1 24 GHz radar module, which is used to monitor the quality of human sleep , detect body movement and stillness along with the accompanying human breathing rate . The mmWave Radar Sensor performs measurements based on the 24 GHz mmWave Doppler radar technology . Its operation is independent of temperature, humidity, noise, airflow, dust, light and other environmental factors. It does not violate the privacy of the respondents, ensures anonymity and data protection, thanks to which it can serve as an executive element in devices used in places that require constant monitoring, such as lounges, hotels, prisons. The sensor can be used, among others in automation for detecting the movement of people and automatically switching on the light based on this measurement.
The main features of the sensor
- Reliable technology: the Infineon mmWave FMCW industrial radar
- Device detection based on 24 GHz mmWave Doppler radar technology
- Vital signs detection: detects both moving and stationary people simultaneously, detects respiratory sleep to monitor sleep quality
- Data protection and privacy not violated, thanks to the possibility of supervision without identifying a person
- High work stability: independent of environmental conditions - temperature, humidity, noise, air flow, dust, light and other factors
- Highly flexible universal radar: supports secondary development and adapts to different application scenarios
