Special features of the Motoron M2S24v14 controller

  • Performs optional cyclic redundancy checking (CRC)
  • It has a command timeout feature that stops the motors from running if the Arduino stops working
  • Configurable traffic parameters:
    • maximum acceleration / deceleration forward / reverse
    • initial speed forward / reverse
    • forward / reverse direction change delay
  • PWM frequency: eight options available from 1kHz to 80kHz
  • Configurable hardware current limit
  • Measurement of engine supply voltage (VIN)
  • Diodes indicating the direction of rotation of the motor

The controller has no overheating protection. Too high temperature or overloading can cause permanent damage to the motor controller. The manufacturer recommends the use of an external current sensor.
The controller can reach very high temperatures , which can lead to the burning of the module, even under normal operating conditions. Exercise caution when working with this product and any other components connected to it.
