The OAK Y adapter is a specialized USB Type-C splitter designed for Luxonis OAK 2 cameras (not compatible with the OAK 4 series). It allows you to simultaneously connect a power source and transmit data through a single USB Type-C port. It is especially useful in situations where the host (e.g. a single-board computer) is unable to provide sufficient current to power the device. The adapter is used, among others, in work with Pro versions of OAK-D cameras , which are equipped with spot projectors and IR diodes, drawing up to 1 A of current . Thanks to this adapter, you will ensure stable operation of the camera even with limited power supply options.
