Description
Small portableinverterforlight-emitting cables.Powered by two AA batteries. It is able to power an EL cable with amaximum length of approx. 2.5 m andprovides up to 10hours of operation.On one of the sides of the device there is a button with which we can select one ofthree modes of operation: continuous / flashing / switching off.On the back wall there is a clip. 2.5 mm 2-pinfemale JST connector is included.
The converter does not have batteriesincluded. They can be purchased separately.
Each meter of the high-brightness EL cableconsumes approx. 10 - 15 mAat high voltage, which givesapprox. 1.5 W/meter (at 100 V DC).Two AA batteries can deliver 9 W, so that1 metre of EL cable works up to approx. 6 hours or 2 metres for 3 hours. The data is approximate, because the voltage changes with the length of the cable. The converteroperates at "audible" frequencies, which means you can hear the squealing coming out of the housing.

The converter requires a 'load' to stabilize. Do not start the inverter without at least 30 cm EL cable connected. Otherwise, the device may get stuck and cause damage. |
