Product description: Gesture sensor and 3D tracking
The sensor is based on theMGC3130microchip, which enables the Raspberry Pi to recognize3Dgesturesand trackmovement. The sensor is divided into an internal area and surrounding lanes for motion detection. The central panel is designed to recognize touch, tap, double-click, gestures in the air above. Just wave your hand over the central panel and the dial will recognize even slight movement. The sensor communicates with Raspberry Pi via theI2Cinterface.
3D gesture sensor for Raspberry Pi.
Product fully compatible withRaspberry Pi4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, Zero. |
Gesture sensor operation and 3D tracking
The shield generates a magnetic field above the centre panel. The fields around the central panel sense a change of orientation east, west, north, south. When a hand or object approaches this field, it will disturb it. The magnetic field receiver will detect this change/disturbance within a radius of 10 cm.
