Description
The module allows you to create a keyboard that communicates with your computer via Bluetooth, works with Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android. It can be powered from 3 - 16 V, by default it allows access to arrow keys, enter, spaces and 'w', 'a', 's', 'd', '1', '2' characters with the possibility of programming any key through anFTDIconverter-details in the manual.
It is possible to combine several modules from Bluefruit series into one device. Each circuit has a unique identifier, all are CC & CE certified and comply with RoHS directive.
The module works with Bluetooth version 2.1 or higher. Please note that many cheap USB chips support the old version 2.1. In practice, all devices manufactured in the last 5 years should meet this requirement. |
Connection
The module has holes forgoldpin connectors- raster 2.54 (the strip is included). Below is a description of individual pins.
Pin | Description |
---|---|
VIN | Supply voltage from 3 V to 16 V. |
GND | The weight of the system. |
RS | Reset. In order to restart the module, the low state - GND must be given. |
PB | The output is connected to a button on the board and is used to reset the pairing of Bluefruit devices. If an external button is used, apply itto 3V, not to ground. |
L1 | Signal output connected to the Key diode. Allows to lead the signal to an external indicator. |
L2 | Signal output connected to the pairing diode. Allows you to output a signal to an external indicator. |
TX | UART interface output pin. |
RX | UART interface input pin. |
0 | Default arrow up. |
1 | Default arrow down. |
2 | Default left arrow. |
3 | Default right arrow. |
4 | Enter by default. |
5 | Default space. |
6 | The default is '1'. |
7 | The default is '2'. |
8 | The default is 'w'. |
9 | The default is 'a'. |
