VR goggles are equipped with two LCD displays with a resolution of1440 x 1600 pxand full RGB colour space. Valve Index works with a frequency of120 Hz, they also have full backwards compatibility up to 90 Hz and an experimental mode of 144 Hz. The displays have reduced illumination periodsfrom 0.330 ms to 0.530 ms, so that the image is smooth during head movement.

Precision Lenses
Goggles allow you to physically adjust the IPD (pupil-to-pupil distance) and lens-to-eye distance to optimize the field of view for each user. The built-in lenses in the goggles maximize the field of vision without losing transparency over the entire surface. The high geometric stability allows looking around with the eyes (not just the head). The displays are tilted5°outwards to improve field of vision.

Rich sound in Valve Index
The device has been equipped with pincushioned panel speakers, which allow for long hours of playing. They are designed for natural sound reception. Honeycomb speakers provide a full range of frequencies scattered at an angle of almost 180°. This allows you to adapt to many shapes of head and ears without losing sound quality.

Comfort and ergonomics
Valve Index is designed with comfort and ergonomics in mind. Goggles can be adjusted to the size of your head, the angle of your face and the position of your ears. They can also be adjusted in terms of pupil distance and lens distance from the eye. Soft surfaces that come into contact with your head and face are made of high quality antibacterial material. Soft cushions distribute the pressure evenly. The face cushions are magnetically attached to the goggles, making them easy to clean and quick to replace.
