A product of theTrillfamily of sensors fromBelain the form of a touch sensor.It detects touch position in two axesby using capacitive technology. There is aGroveconnector on the board, the kit includes a dedicated connectioncable. It is compatible with any platform that supportsI2Ccommunication, including: Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Teensy. It finds application intouch interactiondesigns that require one touch to control two parameters.The hexagonal shape ofthe sensor also makes it suitable forisomorphic keyboardsandtessellationexperiments. The tessellation process creates a polygon mesh representing the surface of an object, which allows the object to be mapped with greater accuracy.
