Lozenge batteries, sometimes called button batteries, are particularly popular in a wide range of small devices - both portable and small stationary equipment. Their applications range from desktop LCD watches, wristwatches and IoT gadgets, to desktop computers and industrial controllers (PLCs), to medical devices and telemetry system sensors. In this category you will find a large selection of button batteries, from the smallest to the quite large CR2450.

Marking of small lozenge batteries
Lozenge batteries are labeled in a wide variety of ways based on the standard used by a given manufacturer. Interestingly, batteries of the same size (diameter and thickness) and voltage (1.5V or 3V) can have completely different trade names. For example, a common pastille battery used in hearing aids - generally numbered 675 - may, depending on the manufacturer, be called PR44, B6754, DA675, B900PA, AC675E, or HA675. At first glance, you may get the misleading impression that these are radically different batteries, so it's always a good idea to make sure which of the dozens of designations refer to batteries of the same dimensions. Even a cursory knowledge of the nomenclature will make shopping much easier.
CR pastille batteries
The situation is slightly better with CRxxyy series - xx stands for the diameter of the battery (in millimeters) and yy for its thickness (expressed in tenths of a millimeter). Thus, probably the most popular battery, e.g. used in many clocks and calculators, is marked CR2032, which means that its diameter is 20 mm and its thickness is exactly 3.2 mm. It is worth noting that this type of battery works in the vast majority of desktop motherboards (and not only) as an additional power source sustaining BIOS memory. This battery can also be found in almost all RTC modules (e.g. for Raspberry Pi), as well as in control panels, evaluation kits with microcontrollers equipped with integrated RTC and many, many other devices. Similar, but slightly thinner, are other pastille batteries from this family - CR2016 (1.6 mm thick) and CR2025 (2.5 mm thick).
Batteries at Botland store
In this category you will find a wide range of pastille batteries in different sizes and different voltages. The most popular CR2032 batteries we have in the execution of leading manufacturers, such as Maxell, Sony, Duracell, EverActive and GP. In the group of 20-millimeter batteries we also have CR2016, CR2025, while the list of "large" button cell batteries is closed by 24-millimeter CR2430 and CR2450. The range of small batteries includes models such as AG10 (LR54), AG13 (LR44), AG3 (LR41, SR41) or AG4 (LR66). You will also find excellent batteries for hearing aids here: 312 (PR41), 13 (PR48) and tiny batteries with the designation 10 (PR70).
