Description
MakeBlock 90014 kit is intended for assemblying theXY plotter, that is a car which draws sketches. Thanks to its durable design, the plotter can be converted into a mini milling machine CNC, driller for engraving (with burning laser). The device works with the Processing and GRemotesoftware.
Components
The set includes more than 60 kinds of Makeblock components, including beams, brackets, motors, etc.
Software
Ploter XY V2.0can be controlled by using two softwares: mDraw and Benbox.
mDraw
The mDraw software is a multiplatform application with open source code developed by Makeblock. It is compatible with mDrawBot and XY plotters set. It works both in the Mac and Windowsenvironment. Supports file types such as *.svg, *.bmp.
Benbox
Benbox is compatible both with the plotter type servo and with laser XY. Benbox supports engraving in shades of grey and editing characters and symbols in the software.
Note:the current Benbox version works only with Windows. Sometimes during installation the Ben32 software is blocked by antivirus software. Before installing, turn off the antivirus.
