Description
A digital sensor measuring the ambient light intensity. The module is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V, it communicates via I2C interface, maximum read is 200 k lux
The product is compatible with Arduino To connect the module to theArduinoyou should usea voltage converter! The manufacturer offers auser manualanda library with the program on GitHub. |
On the back of the board, is a jumper to change the address of the I2C bus. By default, the jumper is open, the result is that the I2C address is0x39. If HIGH is closed, the address will change to0x29. If the LOW is closed, the address will be equal to0x49. Details inthe user guide.
Insights
The sensor is supplied with the voltage of up to 3.6 V, for connecting toArduino of 5 Volts, you must use a voltage converter. It has I2C communication interface. The board has 5 holes for soldering the connectors, e.g. pin slot. Thanks to them, it is possible to connect the system with thebreadboardor the main module usingwires. The set does not containgoldpin connectors, you can purchase them separately. Pitch is 2.54 mm.
