Product description: Kunbus Gateway Module for Modbus RTU
The gateway forModbus RTUprotocol has been developed byKanbusin order to minimise the costs associated with changing the communication protocol. Changing the protocol often requires replacing the whole device including the main controller. Thanks to modular design it is possible to use modules interchangeably. The module allows communication by means of Modbus RTU protocol. It uses8-pin connectorwith 3.5 mm pitch for communication, its maximum throughput is115.2 kB/s. A single module has dimensions of22.5 x 101.4 x 110.4 mm, mounted on DIN rail. The gateway connects to the main module via aPlug & Play jumper. The gateways are equipped with an integrated web server, program parts are updated viaFTPserver. The maximum power is3 W, the voltage tolerance is between 15 % and 20 %. The modular system allows simple configuration of the gateways by plug-in connection or adaptation by module replacement. Using a jumper, two protocols can be combined with a complete gateway. The gateway can be connected e.g. withRevPi DIOmodule together withRevPi Core.
