Product description: Autodesk Inventor from scratch

  • Have you always wanted to explorethe world of 3D engineering modeling?Don't you know where to start?
  • Are you going to masteran innovative and market-renownedCAD program?
  • Are you looking for a course, based onpractical and realexercises?
  • Do you also need to mastertechnical documentation?

If you haven't been in Autodesk Inventor but would like to learn how to work and model and design in 3D, this is the course for you. It's ideal for beginners who want to start their 3D design adventure. Also .extremely useful for example forengineering studentswhetherindustrial workers. The training is designed to convey basic knowledge, explain to us the main concepts on which not only Inventor but also other 3D design programs work. Watching the tutorial videos you will get acquainted with all theessential design stagessuch as: simple 2D sketches, modeling parts, combining them into advanced 3D assemblies, making technical documentation.

Basics of design

If you haven't been in contact with any CAD software yet, the initial training steps will be most important to you. You will learnnot onlythemost important elements of theInventorinterface, butalsobasic methods of 2D sketching. You will easily learn how to draw basic shapes step by step using the line, arc, circle, or spline tools. You'll also learn what geometric ties, dimensional ties or how to import geometry from AutoCAD.

Modeling parts

By gaining basic skills in creating and modeling 2D sketches, you will be able to go up the level to more difficult exercises related tolearning about structural elements. You will learn how to create and edit construction planes, how to use Inventor's main tools such as:rounding, mirroring, chamfering, simple extraction, complex extraction, rib,and many more that will be necessary at this stage.

Working with teams

Inventor is a specialized program that gives a lot of possibilities and is very helpful in designing various kinds of things. You can combine elements in one file and still at the moment of creation, check in your computer how they will work together. In this course you will learn about the possibilities ofworking with teams, how to combine individual elements and how to set them in motion. You will also practice the basic visualisation techniques available in Inventor to learn how to present your later projects in a professional way.

Faster modeling

Autodesk Inventor offers us a speciallibrary ofstandard components. It is calledthe Content Center. This makes it very easy for us to prepare more complex projects later. You don't have to draw every element from scratch. It contains the most commonly used structural elements such as:bearings, bolts, nuts, washers and many other parts available on the market. The training program will explain how to use the already finished elements to speed up your work considerably.

Technical documentation

One of the most important elements when drawing parts is 2D documentation. Without it the project is neither complete nor useful. In this training you will go through these steps step by stephow to make 2D documentation in the form ofa technical drawing. If you have already had contact with creating documentation in some CAD program, you know that it takes a lot of time.

The course shows you how to use Inventorautomatically generate projectionsbased on a model already developed. It also shows how to make cross sections with the available tools, isometric projectionsor rupture or interruption. This saves time and keeps drawing to a minimum.

Auxiliary materials

This training is based on Autodesk Inventor 2018. Don't worry if you are using older versions. You can also use this course to learn the basics of 3D modeling. It includes all the materials you use to discuss the lesson. They are fully compatible with the version of the program used in the course.

With this training you will learn:

  • Inventor main tools
  • 2D sketches
  • modelling parts from sketches and finished parts
  • Content Center libraries in teams
  • assembling and overlapping assembly ties
  • moving parts inside the assembly
  • adding the appearance and material of the parts
  • 2D documentation

How to use the course?

By purchasing a course you will have access to our training platform. If you want to take advantage of the course, you only need access to the Internet. The courses can be conveniently viewed through any browser or mobile application forAndroidandiOS.
