Even if you do not plan any major changes in your home in the form of installing building automation devices that significantly increase the comfort of using the building and relieve people in such activities as manually opening the door or switching on the lighting, then it is worth at least to install the most basic security devices. Such devices include various types of sensors and alarm systems. The Botland store offer includes sensors and alarm modules that allow you to build effective fire protection systems as well as anti-burglar protection. In our store, you will find complete sensor and alarm devices that are ready to run and operate independently because those modules do not require communication with an external dedicated central control system. We also offer devices that can be elements constituting a network of intelligent building automation devices. Alarm and sensor devices available in this category can be installed in residential buildings as well as in large factories and other industrial facilities.

Fire detectors - immediate fire warning
Fire detectors are small and specially designed devices that allow you to instantly detect any signs of a fire. There are various designs of fire detectors. The most popular is ionization, thermo-optical and photo-optical sensors. The most popular solutions in this field, which are typically used in residential buildings, are photo-optical and photoelectric sensors. Such a sensor is equipped with an IR diode. When the air in the room is clean and free of impurities in the form of e.g. smoke, then the infrared radiation beam passes through the sensor chamber and these rays are not reflected. However, when smoke appears in the air, the IR beam will bend and as a result of scattered light, its reflection will be reflected, which will be captured by the sensor. As a result, an alarm is triggered. In contrast, thermo-optical sensors combine the design features of a photo-optical sensor and a traditional temperature sensor. Such a sensor triggers an alarm in a situation in which the room temperature exceeds the threshold value set by the user. Fire detectors are best installed in all rooms of the building in such a way that the detector detects as soon as possible the presence of smoke or a sudden increase in the ambient temperature. Due to the fact that fire smoke accumulates at the ceiling, it is also best to install such sensors here.
Motion sensors - one of the easiest ways to turn on the light without using hands
PIR (Passive Infra-Red) sensors enable detection of movement and the presence of people in closed rooms as well as outside. By detecting motion, the sensor can send a signal to the lighting, ventilation or alarm system controller. PIR sensors use the phenomenon of reflecting infrared (IR) waves from objects whose temperature is higher than the ambient temperature. In fact, such a sensor receives infrared rays that are emitted by objects in the sensor's field of view. Typical design of PIR sensors does incorporate elements that detect IR radiation, in the form of a gallium nitride plate, a fresnel lens, a mirror and an electric circuit providing a trigger signal for external devices.
