Among the many embedded systems available on the market, Raspberry Pi minicomputers are particularly popular, used by both hobbyists and professionals. However, despite the enormous capabilities of this platform, not all projects can use it. To meet ever higher demands, a new quality in the field of minicomputers with even more computing power was shown in February 2016 by the Korean company Hardkernel, presenting a project called Odroid. Check out our offer and see for yourself how huge the potential of this minicomputer is.

Odroid - small-scale minicomputers...
Odroid minicomputer modules provide you with high performance for various tasks. One of them, available in our store under the name N2, has a built-in Amlogic S922X processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, consisting of a 4-core ARM Cortex-A73 chip working with a 2-core Cortex-A53 chip. The Mali-G52 GPU card is responsible for the graphics. The built-in DDR4 RAM has a capacity of 4 GB. Among the connectors on the Odroid board are a 40-pin GPIO, four USB 3.0 connectors, one micro USB 2.0 OTG connector, an HDMI 2.0 connector, a 1 Gbit/s Ethernet connector, as well as a UART communication connector known from Arduino, among others.
...with an impressive hardware and software background
The N2 minicomputer also has slots for eMMC and microSD cards. Interesting additions are built onto the Odroid's PCB and also include an infrared receiver and a digital-to-analog converter with 32-bit resolution and 384 kHz sampling rate, which provides high-fidelity playback of audio files through an on-board TRS 3.5 mm jack analog output. The N2 can run Ubuntu 18.04 or Android 9 Pie operating systems. The power requirements of the Odroid N2 are around 1.6-1.8 watts, reaching up to 5.3 watts at maximum load.
Odroid Go - build your own portable gaming console!
For the tenth birthday of the Odroid project, Hardkernel presented the Odroid Go DIY kit. Also available in our store! The kit contains all the components necessary to build a portable game console, reminiscent of the popular in the 90s Nintendo Game Boy. Apart from the sheer pleasure of playing on the console, the user can also acquire practical knowledge in the field of hardware and software while assembling and activating the console. The satisfaction of playing on a console built by you will be priceless!
