Description
Intel Edisonis a computing platform based on a powerful dual-core Intel Atom processor, equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth and a 70-pin connector.
The kit includes development boards -Intel Edison platformcan be purchased separately.
This set includes:
- 2 xIMU 9DOFsensor-equipped with the LSM9DS0 sensor, which includes a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer. By default, it is connected with I2C bus, but it is possible to change to SPI interface.
- 1 xOLEDdisplay-monochromatic screen with diagonal 0.66 " and resolution 64 x 48 px.
- 1 x I2CBlock- module with voltage converter, enabling connection of devices on I2C bus to Intel Edison platform.
- 1 x PWMBlock- board equipped with eight PWM channels, controlled via the IC bus. Built-in PCA9685 controller has an independent clock with 50 Hz and 12 bit resolution, which allows to control e.g.modelservo.
- 1 x H-BridgeBlock -a two-channelDCmotor controller.It enables control of motors supplied with voltage from 2.7 V to 15 V, and its maximum current capacity is 1 A.
- 1 x ArduinoBlock- the module enables adding Arduino capabilities to Intel Edison. The board is equipped with AVR ATmega328P microcontroller known from Arduino Uno and Pro Mini. Digital and analog outputs are compatible with Pro Mini module.
- 1 x GPIOBlock -the module allows you to output GPIO pins from Intel Edison computing platform to holes suitable for soldering popular goldpin connectors - 2.54 mm raster. In addition to digital inputs and outputs the user also gains access to power supply: 3.3 V, 1.8 V, VSYS and GND and UART and PWM outputs. The voltage level of the output signals can be adjusted with a jumper, 3.3 V or reference voltage VSYS is available.Gold pin connectorsfor self-soldering, must be purchased separately.
- 1 x ConsoleBlock -module for connection and communication with Intel Edison board. It has a stabilizer that provides power supply with current capacity up to 1.5 A. It communicates via USB with FTDI from a voltage converter.
